Lapel flower $10
A flower worn in the lapel, also known as a boutonnière, was common—even de rigueuer—until the 1960s. If you don’t have a live flower on hand, wear one of these instead.

This is what I pack for trips. Linen always looks wrinkled, so if gets wrinkled in your suitcase it looks perfectly normal. Knit ties are also impossible to wrinkle. I prefer the point end as it doesn’t look as casual and is more versatile in that respect.
P.S. - Akelarre was the best meal of my life.

I have recently been buying flowers for my apartment, so as a consequence I now have a steady supply of flowers for my lapel. If I don’t, I’ll pick one out from the apartment complex grounds. I endeavor to always wear a lapel flower. In the 1920s, this was the norm.
